New ports, return to Turkey in SeaDream's 2020 calendar
The SeaDream Yacht Club's 2020 Mediterranean season includes French and Italian rivals, Greek islands, Spanish coast and Adriatic Sea. Highlights include new harbors and adventures on the hunting ground, as well as more overnight stays at selected locations.
According to Emilio Freeman, destinations and revenue management are returning SeaDream I and SeaDream II to traditionally popular ports, including areas away from the crowds.
The 2020 routes will have more stops in Greece and in the Adriatic ports than in previous years. On popular demand, SeaDream returns to Kusadasi, Turkey, where travelers can attend an evening concert in Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Besides, almost every trip guarantees at least one overnight stay.
The new ports include Ikaria in Greece, known as one of the five blue zones in the world where long-term health and well-being are felt by locals. Ikaria is often recognized as the best Greek island for nature lovers.
The new Vis is also home to some of Croatia's most beautiful beaches and was featured prominently in the 2018 movie “Mamma Mia! It starts to hit again. '
Koper is home to one of Slovenia's largest cathedrals, as well as beautifully different period architecture. Visitors can walk the narrow streets and learn about the history and culture of the medieval city.
Rich Valletta, Malta, with historical and cultural significance, will have a new port of entry and landing. The capital of Malta is considered one of the most concentrated historical regions in the world and is often described as an open-air museum. In addition, SeaDream will make its first visit to Xlend Bay on Gozo, a popular swimming and snorkeling spot in the Maltese archipelago.
The season schedule offers opportunities to combine return trips that do not duplicate ports. Wine trips and spectacular trips will be announced later.
There, SeaDream II visits areas including the Punta Frances National Park in Isla de Juventud and the lush natural scenery of Maria la Gorda. Cuba trips depart from Havana or Cienfuego and explore the western edge of the island, making stops at the country's six ports.
